Ian Wood

Ian is a personal trainer and strength coach who specialises in helping over 30s become strong and lean everyday athletes with time efficient strength training sessions and without giving up all the flavour and fun in their diet. Ian holds a MSc in Sports Management and BSc in Sports Development and Coaching alongside being a UKSCA Accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach (ASCC), a Precision Nutrition Certified Nutritionist (PN1) and a Functional Range Conditioning Movement Specialist (FRCms). 

He also loves to teach, lecturing on the Sports Science and Sports Coaching degrees at Bournemouth University, and helping tutor the next generation of coaches to become Level 3 PT’s and Level 4 S&C coaches. Formerly a competitive volleyball player of 11 years, Ian now focuses his own training on balancing barbell strength and trail running endurance in the most efficient ways possible.
