Christie Smith

I’m a Physiotherapist with over a decade of experience across the NHS, private practice, and sport, now based in Poole. My background includes working in A&E, orthopaedics, sports injury clinics, and with AXA’s Advanced Physio Assessment platform - so whether you're dealing with a persistent niggle, a new injury, or something more complex, you're in safe hands.

As an Advanced Physiotherapist, I’m trained to assess more complex issues, recognise when something needs a different approach, and refer you quickly if needed. I’m qualified in diagnostic imaging and independent prescribing, which means I can interpret scans, prescribe certain medications, and make informed decisions to keep your recovery moving in the right direction. These advanced skills help streamline your care, reduce delays, and ensure you're not stuck in the wrong treatment pathway. If things aren’t progressing as expected, I won’t keep you going through the motions - I’ll help you find the best next step, even if that’s outside my room.

Outside the clinic, I’ve worked as a medic on multi-day ultra-marathons in remote places like the Yukon and Amazon. Supporting people in these extreme environments has given me a real appreciation for the resilience of both the body and mind. While those experiences shaped my interest in working with runners, CrossFitters, and endurance athletes, my focus is just as much on helping everyday people move better, feel stronger, and live with less pain. I'm goal-focused in my approach, whatever that goal may be - whether it’s training for a race, walking the dog comfortably, or simply feeling more at ease in your body day to day.

My approach is collaborative, goal-driven, and rooted in movement. Every session is one-on-one, giving us time to get to the root of what’s going on and build a plan that fits your body, your goals, and your lifestyle. No fads, no fluff, no gimmicks - and no promises of quick fixes. Just evidence-based care, honest guidance, and a focus on keeping you moving and doing what you enjoy while we work toward lasting recovery.

Christina McIlduff

TM Chiropractic was founded by Christina McIlduff, a chiropractor with a unique background in movement, performance, and biomechanics. Before retraining as a chiropractor, Christina built a successful career as an aerialist and aerial coach, giving her an in-depth, practical understanding of how the body moves, adapts, and performs under physical demand.

This experience shaped a strong interest in sport, injury prevention, and functional movement, and continues to influence her clinical approach today. While studying chiropractic, Christina was awarded the prestigious FICS (International Federation of Sports Chiropractic) Student Scholarship, recognising her commitment to excellence and evidence-based sports care.

At TM Chiropractic, treatment is personalised, evidence-based, and collaborative. Christina works closely with each patient as part of a team, ensuring they understand their condition, their treatment options, and how to actively support their recovery. Care often includes hands-on treatment alongside tailored exercise and movement advice, designed to restore confidence, improve performance, and support long-term health.

TM Chiropractic welcomes people from all backgrounds, from athletes and performers to those simply wanting to move and feel better in everyday life.
